  • ·         What does Forex stand for?

Foreign Exchange. It is a truly global market, which is everywhere, there the majority of trading occurs.

This market is open for business 24 hours a day, we can exchange equities, money, etc.

 

  • ·         What does Forex refer to?

It is a market where exists potentially hundreds of permutations we could trade.

 

  • ·         What is Forex trading?

Exchanging some money as a net, for example, we can exchange a euro for another local currency, we have sold our coin, and we have bought another, sometimes the exchange rate move could be in our favor when we do these movements into the market.

To make money from fluctuations in exchange rates is at the heart of the forex market; we can have a profit or a loss.

 

  • ·         What does Forex trading market refer to?

It is a market that allows participants to exchange one country’s currency for another country´s currency in other words to trade currencies.

The forex markets and the trading goes on in that markets that determines exchange rate. These markets are the most actively traded market in the world, it is extremely liquid, and this it is pretty beneficial to us.

 

  • ·         How does the foreign exchange work?

The forex market has no single center of operation, if you were looking to trade equities in an specific part of the world, you should find a center around said place.

These centers are spread out everywhere.

 

  • ·         What do people trade?

Equities, currencies, etc.

 

  • ·         How do people trade?

The majority of trading does not happen on exchanges, the vast majority of trading is off exchange, it is what we call over-the-counter (OTC).

The core of the forex market is the inter-bank, this happens between very large banks where they offer each other favorable exchange rates in terms of the closeness of the buy and sell prices.

Retail clients can access forex market via CDF and FX brokers.

 

  • ·         What is a currency-pair?

When one currency quoted against another. It is all about relative value, it is one currency stronger or weaker than another currency.

For example: the polish lottie against a japanese yen.

There are a lot of combinations.

 

  • ·         What makes currency- pairs move?

A currency has a relative value. In forex pairs for exchange trading, we can see the value of one currency versus another. Potentially everything can have an impact on the currency markets: interest rates, unemployment numbers, political events, etc. 

Furthermore, in the video we could see an example of the exchange dollar-euro, we can speculate if one of them will increase or drop in the market. This place works 24 hr, but one currency does not move much during the day, despite this, we need to manage the risk too.
